Consigning

If I am bringing things from a previous sale that didn't sell, do I have to retag them?

No, you don’t need to re-enter or re-tag them, BUT you do need to reactivate them in your account for the current sale. It's easy!

How much does it cost to consign with the Divvy UP?

Consigners are charged a $12.00 fee. Additionally you earn 60% (or more if you volunteer) of the selling price for each item. No money is charged up front, the fee will be deducted from your profits.

Total Sales x 60%* - $12 fee = YOUR NET PROCEEDS

* or more if you meet requirements

Why should I consign with the Divvy UP rather than online auctions or garage sales?

The Divvy UP is committed to offering quality used merchandise at a great price. You will be able to control how much you make off of the items you consign, without the headache of advertising, taking photographs, mailing packages, or sitting in the driveway at a garage sale all weekend. The Divvy UP also supports local schools and charities.

Can someone without internet access be a consignor?

No, you must use our website to sign-up and consign.

What happens to items that don’t sell?

When you enter your items into our online system you will be asked if you wish to donate or pick-up any unsold items. You pick and choose which items you’d like to donate. The items you wish to pick-up will be available on the last day of our sale. Anything not picked up that day will be donated to charity. After the sale, you’ll be able to print a list of sold/unsold items for tax purposes.

I have signed up for the sale. What do I do now?

When do I get to shop?

The pre-sale party will be open to consignors, volunteers, military families, and new and expectant moms before it opens to the public. Please check the Calendar for specific dates and times.

Will I get my hangers back after the sale?

No. Hangers will be left on clothing when it is purchased. You will be able to keep any hangers from the items you purchase, as well as any of your unsold items you wish to pick up at the end of the sale. We often have hangers left over from our sale, so check with us if that interests you.
