Consignor Information

The Divvy UP is a Semi-Annual Children’s sale where anyone can earn money by consigning their gently used children’s items and save money when they shop at the sale

Why Consign?

  • The Divvy UP makes it easy to sell your gently used kid’s items so that you earn money and also find inexpensive items when you shop for the things your kids need.

  • We do all the advertising and attract more customers than any garage sale. Think of thousands of people looking for exactly what you are selling!

  • The Divvy UP shoppers are willing to pay a little more than garage sale prices because they know each item has been carefully inspected for cleanliness and wear. All items are organized by size and displayed professionally.

  • Once your items are prepared and delivered, your work is done. Just wait for your check to arrive!

  • Consigners (with at least 25 acceptable items or $100 worth of merchandise) get to shop a day before the general public. Volunteer and you’ll be shopping even earlier! Shopping early is the best way to get the best deals.

  • Less complicated than online auctions. No photographing, collecting money or trips to the post office... and no creepy meet ups with strangers. 

  • It’s fun to meet other consigners and volunteers with the same interests as you.

New Consignors:

Create your Consignor Account

Enter your items into our online system. You set the price and decide if you want them to automatically discount 1/2 off on the final day of the sale. You also choose which items you want donated to charity if they are unsold at the end of the sale.

Prepare your items

Click on merchandise preparation & acceptable items for step-by-step instructions. The better each item looks the more likely it is to sell.

Drop off your items at the sale

Deliver your items to The Divvy UP Sale Site during the scheduled time. Then just relax and wait for your items to sell.

Get your check

After the sale, pick up any unsold items that you do not wish to donate. You will receive your check within 3 weeks after the sale ends.

Shop for new items

Consignors get to shop the Pre-Sale before the general public to get the best selection.

Volunteer to help during the sale

Our volunteer crew gets to shop BOTH the Pre-sale and 1/2 price day before anyone else. You also earn extra commissions. See more details below.

Volunteers:

We know that the success of our sales includes crew members - hopefully that includes you!

Our crew get the bonus of a pre-sale pass to shop before the consignors and general public. Crew positions are limited and are first come, first serve. Duties will include: consignor check in, shopper check out, set up and take down, as well as general duties associated with day-to-day event activity.

Everyone who joins our crew for at least 3 hours will receive a Pre-sale pass and an extra 5% commissions per work shift (up to 3 shifts)

We no longer allow "non-consignor" volunteers.

Volunteer No Show Policy

If you are unable to work your shift, we ask that you find your own replacement to fill in for you. Consignors not able to find a replacement will only receive 50% of their sale proceeds sold during the event. We understand emergencies can happen and will treat them on a case-by-case basis.
